For millions of years, it has woven, shaped, created, and reused, leaving no waste behind.
In this exhibition, we showcase designers, makers, and companies that follow this path.

Imagine a world where we build and create with what grows in nature. Everything is made from living materials that breathe, decompose, and regenerate.
This exhibition explores biobased and regenerative design: creating with materials of biological origin that do not harm the environment, but instead contribute to its restoration. Is the future biobased?
This exhibition is created within the framework of the Interreg North Sea Region project ‘Building Based on Biobased’. Within this project, 16 partners from five countries in the North Sea Region work together to design, develop, and strengthen value chains for the use of biobased materials. Every link in the value chain is represented within the partnership.
