TECHNOLOGY OPENS THE GATES TO PRODUCT DESIGN FROM HOME
As 3D printing becomes more accessible and affordable, the distance between having an idea and turning it into a physical object is becoming smaller than ever.
Designers can now experiment, develop and prototype products from home, without the need for factories, large investments or traditional production processes.
Through MONSTER HANGER and GIGANTIC FINGER / SUNGLASSES RING, this exhibition explores how spontaneous ideas can evolve into physical prototypes, attract attention, reach new audiences and eventually become real products.
Both projects demonstrate how accessible technology creates new opportunities for independent designers, making it easier to test unconventional ideas and discover their potential in the real world.
