Interweave: The Shape of Holding is an ongoing body of work by London-based artist Minyu Zhu. Through suspended textile installations and sculptural forms, the project explores how relationships are shaped through tension, support, dependency, and change.

Combining fiber, thread, embroidery, textile, and metal, the works create intricate structures that appear fragile yet resilient. Inspired by connective systems found in both bodies and environments, the installations investigate how individual elements become part of larger networks while retaining their own identity.

Presented as a spatial environment rather than a static object, the work invites visitors to move through shifting layers of material, shadow, and connection, reflecting on coexistence, vulnerability, and the invisible forces that bind people, places, and experiences together.
