HOF – Regenerative Pavilion

Near Leiepoort and the Budalys residential care home, a living outdoor space made of bamboo and climbing plants is taking shape, growing and changing with the seasons. Together with residents, children and other stakeholders, crops such as flax, hops and grass are being planted, tended and harvested.

In this way, the relationship between nature, health and the built environment becomes visible and tangible. During the festival, visitors will discover how regenerative crops can contribute to sustainable and healthy building materials. The absence of industrial hemp invites reflection on regulations, perceptions and the future of bio-based construction. HOF demonstrates how agriculture and modern architecture can reinforce one another in the development of a resilient environment.
