FOLDED ALU SERIES & GLASS CITY SCULPTURES

The Folded Alu series is a collection of objects made from laser-cut aluminium sheets, which are joined together without the use of screws, bolts, welds or glue, by means of precisely folded joints.
Each form arises directly from the material itself. The fold serves both as structure and detail; tension holds everything together.
This series explores structural openness and a radically honest construction. What usually remains hidden – the joint – takes centre stage. Rhythm, geometry and shadow work together to create an almost architectural formal language.

Glass City Sculptures is a personal glass project that translates urban emotions into sculptural forms, blown from recycled glass. As a city dweller, I experience the daily intensity of city life, the stress, the constant movement, but also rare moments of tranquillity. Each object represents a common urban material: steel, wood and brick.

Steel symbolises infrastructure and industry, rigid and controlled. Wood refers to urban nature and tranquillity, reflected in the matt, sandblasted surface. Brick represents the dense urban environment and is expressed in a form that seems to resist the mould, as if seeking more space.

The forms have emerged organically, with minimal post-processing. The moulds, made entirely from recycled materials, are inextricably linked to the objects themselves: without the mould, there is no form.

This marks the beginning of a series that can explore all – sometimes hidden – aspects of a city as experienced by its inhabitants.
