With the Drop Seats, Frederik explores the boundaries of usability. The stools are composed of a thin top and chunky, sturdy, and robust legs reminiscent of a drop shape. Three separate pieces become one entity.

What intrigues about these seats is the discomfort one experiences when "falling" into the seating position. However, this contrasts sharply with the relaxation one feels once seated. The comfort of these Drop Seats takes on a surprising twist.

With the Drop Seats, Frederik challenges traditional limits. The combination of the delicate top and sturdy legs, along with the challenging comfort, creates a unique aesthetic and an intriguing contrast.

Topo is a collection inspired by the blooming landscapes of Northern Spain, where rolling terrains, vegetation, and shifting light create a rich and layered topography. The pieces translate this landscape into form, echoing the gentle elevations, contours, and natural rhythms of the land.

Crafted in wood, the collection emphasizes the material’s warmth and organic character. The natural grain and depth of the wood reinforce the connection between the objects and the landscape that inspired them.

The upper surfaces are specially treated to create a subtle crystallizing effect, giving the wood a vibrant, almost mineral-like texture that interacts delicately with light. This treatment transforms the surface into a tactile field.
