Reconnect with your clothing

Koesterkleren is an artistic research project and intervention by Studio AMA that reactivates the relationship between people and their clothing. The installation explores how a cherishing mindset—an attitude of care—can be developed. It invites visitors to a slowed-down encounter with a personal garment, guided by questions projected onto a mirror.

At the heart of the installation lies one question: what creates the value of clothing? The designer? The brand? Or the wearer, through memories and emotional connection?

By making this inner dialogue visible, Koesterkleren invites you as the wearer to co-create the value of clothing. Not by buying more, but by making more possible with what already exists: wearing, repairing, sharing, cherishing. In this way, your clothing retains meaning for longer.
