A Feast for Wayward Things is a ceramic landscape set upon a round banquet table.
Bowls, spoons, candlesticks and other artefacts from the present day evoke a scene that is reminiscent both of an imaginary medieval dinner and of an undefined, fairy-tale kingdom.
The ceramic forms are recognisable, but their potential use remains ambiguous. Edges become irregular, volumes tilt and surfaces bear traces that are both inviting and resistant.
The landscape balances between a fictional past, the present and a possible future—a world in which meaning cannot be pinned down, but is constantly shifting.
The table invites one to slow down: to linger, to look, to wander and to daydream. It becomes a place where time seems to dissolve and visitors can engage with one another, with the objects and with their own imagination.
