Vanissage is a technique that merges basketry and weaving to create modular textile surfaces. By transforming scraps like leather, plastic, or wood into perforated modules, it offers a new visual and material language. This modularity allows me to escape the limitations of waste formats and explore surface, volume, and sculpture. The installation I propose for WONDER is a symbolic wall composition—like a face or a totem—highlighting the narrative and tactile potential of craft. This project bridges traditional craftsmanship and artistic research, while promoting sustainability and creative reuse.
