The Rummikub Ronin is a wearable sculpture made from 1,960 tiles, collected from 45 second-hand Rummikub sets via Vinted. Each set carries traces of past game nights, holidays and family stories. Together, they form a collective memory in physical form. The hand-bound armor references the ronin — a samurai without a master — and symbolizes the act of forging one’s own path beyond the conventional. Not building with the new, but with what has already lived.
