Designregio Kortrijk in samenwerking met Material Mastery, Centexbel, Fedustria, Cobot, Weerwerk, Belysse, Balta en met de steun van Vlaio en Vlaanderen Circulair.
Every year, some 1,200 tonnes of textile floor coverings end up in landfills or incinerators after an average of 10 years. This means high environmental impact and loss of valuable materials.
The Living Lab Carpet is looking for circular solutions: reuse, recovery and eco-design. Together with Leda Devoldere, Cas Moor and Material Mastery, opportunities are being explored to give new life to different types of carpet.
With Mass as a statement, we make the scale of the problem visible. The scenography - designed by Leda & Cas - is itself a powerful plea for change.
