During WONDER, print shop Die Keure from Bruges will tackle the question 'what place does the print shop still have today in this digital world?'. We will give a picture of the current flows and processes, how they differ from the past, and where are we heading? Who is involved and who has what role? Why or when do you step to what kind of printer, and how or why do you involve them in your project? In what way can a printer influence the creative process, and what choices or trends are there in terms of sustainability?
At the installation, you will be able to present, discuss, refine your project with the lithographers and dtp'ers. On the occasion of WONDER, die Keure will move part of its prepress department to Kortrijk, and there will be the possibility to have your own project, within certain parameters, printed and bound within the term of the festival, in small or larger editions.
On each of the 3 weekends, a panel discussion will take place with people who come into contact with printing companies from their profession, such as designers, publishers, typographers, authors, etc.
Die Keure is a Belgian family business with more than 80 years of experience in printing and publishing.
